Newsletter July 2004
The main season of 2004 is proving to be very busy. This is the first year in recent memory when we have not been affected by an external influence, for example Foot and Mouth or last year's war and the corporate world seems to be in excellent form - investing in team building and employee motivation. We have compiled a few news items to keep our clients informed. If you are generally interested in team building events then please do take the time to have a look around this website. It has never been more full and I hope that you find it informative but also fun.
Progressive Resources Team Challenge
Those with smaller teams often find it difficult to find an event which gives good value for money. This is why we started our open Team Challenge events. Here teams of between 5 and 10 can enter an open event attended by other companies. This enables us to give excellent value for money and also makes for a day with an interesting competitive element. The day includes Laser Clay Shooting, Human Table Football, 3 Command Tasks, Blindfold Driving, Quad Biking and a Great Egg Toss Finale. Coffee and pastries on arrival, a good barbecue lunch, afternoon tea and cakes are all included in the price of just £75 plus VAT per person. We do not believe that you will find better value anywhere. The location is Brockenhurst in the New Forest, five minutes from the train station which connects with the main London Waterloo line and close to some really excellent hotels. Visit www.teambuilding.co.uk/team_challenge.html for further information.
New Team Building Events
We are always developing new ideas for fun team building events. We have a Scrappy Joe's Challenge in which teams build sculptures from scrap and Mars Moon Landing - dedicated to those intrepid Beagle 3 pioneers - in which teams attempt to take a photo of the surface of Mars using rockets which ascend to 200 feet before returning to earth by parachute with a camera attached to the pod. Mars is a model of the red planet with a 12 foot diameter! The Parmesan Job is a Treasure Hunt in new Mini Coopers in which teams collect bars of gold and other themed Treasure Hunts include Finding Nemo for which we have characters in shark, seagull and turtle costumes. Go Mad in the Country, Spy School and James Bond themes continue to be popular. If you are looking for something different and memorable then make Progressive Resources your first port of call.
We hope that you have enjoyed this newsletter. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information on its content or our events generally.
