Chaper FIVE - Discussion

3) Management's Expectations

Question

"On the day, did the event live up to your expectations?"

Discussion

In the cases of Group 1 and Group 3 the event lived up to or surpassed the expectations of the managers, this shows that the correct event had been selected for the teams in question.

Both of the interviewees had several meetings with events coordinators at Progressive Resources The Teambuilding Company, something that the other interviewees did not experience.

Group 2 and Group 4 had a good experience of the event while Group 5 had some unsatisfactory elements to the event.

The reasons for this dissatisfaction could have been the lack of communication between Progressive Resources and the interviewee, and the ammount of hostile feelings that the group carried into the event.
