Hypothesis

Hypothesis

From the research, the validity of team building exercises were assessed.

With a significant number of major blue-chip companies contributing to the studies the evaluation of opinions will be categorised and trends highlighted.

The study will indicate whether a team building exercise will result in an increased productivity and team cohesion, or have little or no effect.


Null Hypothesis

Team building exercises have no significant implication on the effectiveness, efficiency, morale or productivity within major blue-chip companies.


Research Hypothesis

Team building exercises (independent variable) will have a significant positive implication on the effectiveness, efficiency, morale or productivity within major blue-chip companies (dependent variable).

This one-tailed hypothesis has been chosen in conjunction with views from Creswell (1998) who describes the positive effects it can entail.
