New TBCo Chocolatiers
Chocolate Making becomes increasingly popular every year so we thought it would be a good time to train up some more Chocolatiers! Welcome Tor and Livvy!
You may have seen these lovely ladies on our other events, Tor and Livvy have been a core part of the TBCo events team over the 2018 season, from helping clients on our F1 Challenge to event managing ‘It’s A Knockout’!
So why become part of the Chocolatier team?
Tor: Who wouldn’t want to? I love chocolate and love getting to mix chocolate, cream and a variety of flavours together along with demonstrating how to make the ganache!
Livvy: I get to work with chocolate all day and with great people. It’s always good fun and a great atmosphere on Chocolate Making events.
A vital park of the Chocolate Making event is making your very own artisan delicacies using a mix of your own succulent truffle centres from our huge range of flavourings and ingredients. So according to our new Chocolatiers, what are the best flavours?
Livvy: I like them all! My favourite would have to be a dark chocolate with a white/milk tempered chocolate outside with some salt.
Tor: White chocolate shell, milk chocolate inside with salted caramel Baileys ganache, tempered with milk chocolate and dusted rock salt.
As well as actually making the chocolates, teams will need to create a chocolate brand and pitch their product to our master chocolatiers…
Tor: One of my favourite parts of the Chocolate Making event is watching the clients present their business ideas.
A fun chocolate fact of the day… Chocolate has over 600 flavour compounds whilst red wine has just 200!
