The intentions of this study were to establish the effectiveness of team building exercises within the corporate sector.
This research was carried out following the author's placement year within Progressive Resources The Teambuilding Company therefore, an area of extensive interest.
The effect team building exercise had on performance was a neglected, yet crucial, aspect of the team building experience and an area with limited literature.
The author is confident that the aims of this have been fulfilled and a valuable contribution to the field, with qualitative reviews, has been achieved.
This research project has proved a valuable experience to the author and developed his understanding of both the specific views of the managers as well as an overall view of the field.
This greater understanding will assist the author when returning to the industry following his degree.
