Amongst the cheers of the crowds teams must construct free standing catapults / slingshots from some serious raw materials (all provided). The contraption must be sturdy, rigid and powerful.

Upon completion the tournament begins with a head to head 'launch off'.
Teams have the option to purchase many forms of ammunition including cabbages, cauliflowers and melons!
Parts for the catapult are purchased from the Roman Stores with the coined currency collected throughout the event.
