Teams must construct free standing catapults / trebuchets. The contraption must be sturdy, rigid and powerful.

Upon completion the tournament begins with a head to head 'launch off', firing swedes at scaled castles.
Parts for the catapult are purchased from the Roman Stores with the coined currency collected throughout the event.
