Prepare to be amazed at what can be achieved with drums, enthusiasm and a professional conductor guiding you along the way on our team building drumming event!
The event starts with a drumming fanfare as our facilitators play your group into the room. Depending on your group size you’ll be split into teams and seated in different rhythm sections.
Next to your seat you’ll find your drum, no musical skill is required. After a couple of miss-hits you’ll find it second nature. Each team learns a signature rhythm – the conductor then layers the rhythms like an orchestra to create a truly powerful sound.
Drumming is immediate, Rhythm is unstoppable, Drums unite everyone.
Our Rhythm Master helps create each team's separate rhythms which are interlinked to play one amazing sound. Our skilled drummers will also use individuals’ own musical ideas to create a personal and unforgettable drumming performance.
The finale is a roller coaster of surprise, energy and team empowerment. Bringing together all the skills amassed so far under our expert instruction. This is where team support and inspiration meet in music... to lift the roof!

The session begins with a drumming fanfare as the facilitators bring the group into the room. Participants are given drums and, depending on group size, divided into different rhythm sections. Each team learns its own rhythm before the conductor layers them together to create one large performance.
No. The event is specifically designed so that no musical experience is required. Everyone receives a drum and is taught their rhythm by the facilitators, with the conductor gradually bringing the separate sections together into a coordinated performance.
Yes. The event is designed for groups of 10 to 500 people, and bringing a large group together to create one powerful sound is a big part of its impact. Larger groups do, however, require a sufficiently large room to accommodate everyone and the equipment.
Each section has its own rhythm, but the final performance only works when those rhythms fit together. Participants therefore have to listen, keep time and support the wider group rather than simply concentrating on their own drum. The event uses that musical experience as a practical illustration of collaborative teamwork.
The event builds towards a grand finale where the different rhythms come together. The Rhythm Master also incorporates participants' own musical ideas into the performance, creating a final piece that brings together everything the group has learned during the session.
Yes. The event lasts around one to two hours and can be used as part of a conference programme or before an evening event. It can even be delivered at your offices, provided there is enough suitable space for the group.
Drumming is available nationwide and can be delivered at a suitable venue or even at your offices. The main consideration is the size of the room, as a larger group needs sufficient space for everyone to be seated with their drums.
It's certainly an energetic musical activity! The whole point is to bring individual rhythms together into a large-scale group performance, so the final result can be a powerful sound. That's also why the event works particularly well as an energising team activity.
The standard Drumming event lasts around one to two hours, giving you enough time to introduce the rhythms, build the different sections and work towards the final performance without taking over an entire conference day.
Drumming requires a large room, particularly for bigger groups, with enough space for participants to sit in their rhythm sections and play comfortably. The event team can help identify a suitable venue if required.
