Tour de France ...or Tour de Team?
We’re now well underway with Le Tour de France and Team Sky’s (GBR) Geraint Thomas is currently wearing the yellow jumper as we enter stage 4 of the tour. We can’t get enough of it in our office, so much so that our events consultant Sarah has started cycling every weekend!
It’s also why we came up with our very own take on the event… ‘Tour de Team’!
What’s Involved?
The event starts with teams creating their own branding and logo which will then feature on their race gear ‘sperm suits & caps’ and flag. A series of different challenges are then laid out which each team must complete in the allotted time frame. Puncture repairs, orienteering tasks and speed trails are just some of the challenges your team will face in order to prove their worth of competing in the final race.
Once teams have proven their worth, the final challenge set before your team is to assemble your bikes from scratch! Our expert technicians will be on site to guide you through this stage and gives the final check before they are ‘race approved’.
For the grand finale, a head to head relay race takes place on our pre-set track…

Monopoly Treasure Hunt
Don’t worry, we won’t be forcing you to sit around a table rolling dice to re-create ‘family games night’ with your co-workers. Instead we’ve created our very own spin on the classic game that requires clever planning, quick thinking and a good eye!
Our Monopoly Treasure Hunt is the perfect way to explore London, see the sights that the UK’s capital city has to offer as you race around earning points by completing location based challenges.
About
Event Format
To start things off, our event manager will brief teams on how the game works and provide each with an iPad Mini tablet with the pre-loaded game software. Based off a GPS system, teams will have to navigate their way around London to designated way-points where a location specific challenge will unlock. To make your way “around the board”, you can either choose to use every form of public transport the capital has to offer, or for that extra special London touch, each team can be provided with their very own private Black Cab!
Much like the board game, certain locations are worth more points but higher points means a greater challenge. Planning is essential, with so many locations and only a limited amount of time you will have to ensure you choose the right locations to maximise your points potential.
Will your team devise the perfect route and come out on top… or will you head straight for Mayfair only to waste precious time to find out the challenge is too tough!
We know that the weather can play a big factor in deciding on what to do for your team day out, don't worry, we have you covered come rain or shine!
