With the IAAF World Championships starting today, here at The Teambuilding Company we’re getting excited about seeing some of the world’s top athletes return to compete at London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic park… it’s feeling like 2012 all over again!
If you fancy yourself as a bit of an Olympian, then why not book our ‘Olympic Games’ for your next team away day?! Split into teams, create your very own countries complete with flags and national anthems and then compete head to head for your spot on the podium.
Activities include Laser Clays, Archery, Human Table Football and our Decathlon/ Track and field zones include a range of more traditional activities such as Discus and Javelin.

You're Hired! . . . or Fired!
Based on the BBC's ‘The Apprentice’ this event has teams dashing around collecting weird and wonderful items in a mad scavenger hunt challenge.
Meet the shrewd Lord Sweetener, business-guru, media-mogul, captain of industry and tyrannical tycoon: listed in Forbes Top 100 Wealthiest Fictional People.
Lord Sweetener will give you a list of items, both mad and mundane, to scavenge in the immediate vicinity. You’ll need to blag, brag and barter to get the best deals and save your limited spending money. You don’t want to incur the wrath of Lord Sweetener!
This Apprentice style team building event can be run from almost any venue. All we need is a room to start and finish in. We script each Rookie event to you, no event is the same! Once you’ve chosen a venue we research the area and local shops to draw up a unique scavenger list of wild and whacky items for you to find and buy.

The Event Format
On arrival, your group will meet our onsite event manager who will split you into teams of up to 6. Each team is then given a work station with identical materials to begin building their raft.
It's only the best for our clients, no barrels and logs here, instead we provide each team with a set amount of modular pontoon, timber & rope. The beauty of using pontoon over barrels and logs is that it can be configured together in a huge variety of different ways, which means you end up with very different looking rafts for each team!
As the creativity begins to flow and rafts take shape, it's then a battle against time to complete your build. The biggest factor to consider when crafting your raft will not only be speed of the vessel but also durability, as there are no re-build or repairs allowed once the final racing begins.

For those who are after a full day's event, we can also include additional activities to be mixed in during the build stage with teams rotating around stations. These include; Fire Making, Blindfold Tent Building, Axe Throwing, Laser Clays, Segways, Quad Bikes, Archery, Flag Making and many more to give you a true 'survival day'!
The event rounds off with 3 heats of final racing to find out the undisputed raft racing champions!
We know that the weather can play a big factor in deciding on what to do for your team day out, don't worry, we have you covered come rain or shine!
