Welcome Aspiring Directors, Actors & Actresses

A team building event that brings out your creative flair and gives you a chance to enjoy the thrill of filming – from both sides of the camera...

Our iPads have 8 megapixel, 1080p HD cameras with an eye-watering 2448 x 3264 resolution. You’ll be able to shoot stunning slow-motion at 120 frames per second for all-important action shots.

Using the impressive iPad Movie Maker, our professional film equipment, props and costumes, you’ll film and act in your own high-quality short film – which you’ll then cut, edit and polish before screening to the group.

Event Format

Your group is divided into teams of about eight people who will be issued an iPad with lighting unit, microphone boom, props, costumes, movie storyboards and, of course, the clapper board.

Next is the planning stage where teams will come up with a theme for their movie and create a storyboard of scenes/shots to film. This could be producing a company advert, making a lip-synced music video, or reproducing famous scenes from films; it really is up to you!

Depending on the venue, you will usually be able to shoot scenes in different locations, and the more creative you are, the more impressive the end result!

Once you’ve got all the footage you need, it’s time to edit. The iPads’ Movie Maker software allows you to cut and fade scenes, add filters, titles and theme music, present your film in a news format – the possibilities are endless…

Finally we sit down to the grand unveiling of the films; if you’re looking for a competitive element we can judge a winner or just sit back and enjoy everyone’s efforts.

This is a great team building event which always receives fantastic feedback. Somehow the quietest team members seem to show a surprising creative flair; the best film will always have been the most collaborative team effort.

The Movie making activity was a great hit with the team. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. Their videos were fantastic. Your guys were as professional as always and I would like to thank them for their efforts. They arrived promptly, provided a good brief, all the props and iPads were in good condition and the technical support was excellent.
