This months blog is brought to you by Maci!

This month we have had the pleasure of welcoming a bright and enthusiastic Year 10 placement student for her two week work experience, getting a taste of what it's like to work in our industry. Maci has been kept busy both in the office and in the field experiencing what its like to work in this busy and ever changing environment.

Here are a few words from Maci herself, sharing her thoughts and experience so far.

"For my work experience this week at The Team Building Company I have been surrounded with many amazing and welcoming staff members and introduced to a lovely environment on my first day Monday, I  was shown around the work place and given a talk about what goes on where and introduced to many of the kind staff after the tour I was arranged to do some wax stamping on some letters for an event which was for the saboteur’s after I had completed that I helped in the Wherehouse where I was helping move boxes onto vans for later events. On Tuesday I started by building up some venue boxes which included making the boxes up, filling up the boxes with padding and then neatly presenting the gifts laying it out efficiently I then padded the top of the box and placing a leaflet which included the information and placing a sticker on top with information about the package and tying a ribbon through the box sealing it tight after I done some research on Portsmouth and came up with some questions and facts for an event next Wednesday after I had came up with enough questions I headed to and event which was duck hurdling it was a different and amusing event and was very clever on how it was done then on Thursday I headed to and event that was 2 hours away and I helped set up the activities such as inflatable volleyball and axe throwing it was a cool and satisfying experience and I extremely enjoyed helping with the inflatable volleyball I likes seeing people be competitive and seeing all the different challenges and rules there were whilst playing after we had finished all the rotations I has an opportunity to drive some quadbikes which was extremely fun but also thrilling in a good way after I helped pack down and help load it into the van on Friday I made my way to another event which was in London we were doing inflatable volleyball, team ski, photo mission, sumo relay and human table football this was a challenging set up but also reliving one we had completed the set up it was so cool to see all the teams competing and there were some incredible skills in HTF and volleyball and it was also funny to see all the photos that had been recreated for photo mission and how well the teams came together and worked so well for team ski on that day I helped run HTF and inflatable volleyball after all the rotations had been complete we sent the clients off the club house and started to pack away I was upset for the weekend as I had such a good week and it had all gone so quickly s also exited for Monday so I could see everyone again when I arrived on Monday I started wrapping the gift boxes and packaging them up to be sent to the venues I then went to collect some things for some events and sent them off the venue packages to be sent to the venue and came back to the office and done some more tasks. I am so happy that I chose to do my work experience with TBCO as they have all been so warm and welcoming its and amazing environment, I am upset to see this week go they have kept me busy which I love and were always checking up on me I wish I could stay longer and hopefully see them all again."
