This is our tribute to the greatest game show of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s! We bring back some of the weird and wonderful challenges of The Generation Game…
Over the course of dinner, you will have a go at crazy challenges and each table takes part in a light hearted competition. These spectacularly silly activities will have you laughing all the way through.
This is ideal entertainment over dinner for a fun group who are happy to let their hair down and want a truly memorable evening!
The Haka – During dinner our Haka tribesmen storm into the room to perform ‘The Call’ in full ceremonial dress! You’ll then be shown how to perform your own Haka war cry; the most powerful performance wins…
Balloon Modelling – Watch as our balloon modelling masters show off their impressive, inflatable skills. Then it’s your turn – create the craziest balloon model you can. Bonus points for weaving multiple balloons into wacky designs.
Seasonal Challenge – Seasonally dependant - design and build an edible Christmas gingerbread house, create a picturesque pumpkin carving, or decorate an eggscellent Easter egg...
Catwalk Capers – Become the ultimate fashion designer and create cutting edge clothing. From boxes of old offcuts and hideous charity shop rejects, combine the most avant-garde costume fit for The Paris Fashion Show.

Morris Dancing – Have a go at traditional English folk dancing. Our real Morris Dancer will teach your team a short dance then tuck your trousers into your socks, don a ribboned hat and have a go yourself.
Cake Decorating – This creative, culinary, cake decorating challenge is very messy… Compete to create the craziest cake topping. Icing, chocolate, sprinkles, jelly tots – try not to start a food fight. And no misbehaving with the whipped cream!
'Conveyor Belt Challenge' – The finale needs no introduction - you need to memorise the items before they disappear… “Dinner service…. Fondue Set…. Cuddly Toy!”
At the end of the night we take a look at “the scores on the doors” to find a winning table!
Generation Game is an evening team building event for 10 to 200 people, inspired by the classic TV game show, where tables compete in silly challenges over dinner. It lasts 2 to 3 hours. Here's how it runs.
Each table at dinner becomes a team in a light-hearted competition.
Tables have a go at challenges such as learning the Haka, balloon modelling, catwalk fashion from 'Nanna's curtains', Morris dancing and cake decorating.
Professionals judge each table's performance in every challenge and award points.
The finale is the famous Conveyor Belt Challenge, where teams must memorise the items before they disappear.
At the end of the night, the scores are revealed and the winning table receives Generation Game medals.
Generation Game is tailored to your group and fully run by our team.
Generation Game is a great-fun evening event with broad appeal, combining creativity and teamwork with plenty of laughter.
Spectacularly silly challenges keep the whole room laughing.
Fashion designs, balloon models and cake decorating let teams show their creative side.
Every table works together to score points across the challenges.
It fits easily around dinner, and there's a challenge to suit everyone.
Your event team were great. They were very patient with us as we crashed through the Morris dancing and produced cakes that bore no resemblance to what we intended!

Teams compete in a rotating selection of deliberately silly practical and creative challenges inspired by classic television game shows. The activities unfold during dinner, with each table earning points before the final scores reveal the evening's winning team.
The programme can feature balloon modelling, cake decorating, Morris dancing, a group Haka, costume design and a seasonal creative challenge. The precise combination can be selected to suit the event and time of year.
Some challenges involve presenting or performing, but participants work as teams rather than being left completely on their own. Creative, practical and planning roles allow less confident guests to contribute without always taking centre stage.
Challenges are introduced between courses, turning the meal into an interactive evening rather than a separate sit-down dinner followed by entertainment. Each table operates as a team and has time to eat, socialise and prepare for the next surprise.
The finale recreates the classic memory game. Participants watch a selection of unusual objects pass in front of them and then work together to remember as many as possible before the items disappear.
No. The event can include seasonal tasks such as decorating Easter eggs, carving pumpkins or building gingerbread houses. This helps the evening feel relevant to the date and avoids forcing every group through one fixed programme.
Scores are collected and a winning table is announced, but the competition remains intentionally light-hearted. The real entertainment comes from watching colleagues tackle unfamiliar activities with varying degrees of confidence and success.
The evening normally lasts approximately two to three hours, allowing the challenges to be spaced naturally between dinner courses rather than rushed through in one continuous session.
Generation Game is suitable for approximately 10 to 200 guests. Table-based teams make the format easy to scale while ensuring everyone remains close to the action.
The variety prevents one personality type from dominating. Different rounds reward creativity, memory, coordination and willingness to join in, helping colleagues discover unexpected talents while sharing plenty of laughter.
