Team Building in Derbyshire
Beautiful Derbyshire offers many opportunities for conference and team building event organisers. The Peak District National Park is ideal for expedition style events, although these will not necessarily appeal to everyone in a team. Many excellent hotels in Derbyshire have land available for events, and these can be conveniently set up to form a half day of activity within a conference programme with no need to travel from your venue. Derby is the county town, and the towns of Bakewell and Buxton are well known. The M1 motorway runs along the eastern edge of Derbyshire and East Midlands Airport is one of the lesser known International airports in the UK, and a very useful resource for event organisers. Famous people born in Derbyshire include Charles Darwin and Richard Arkwright, inventor of the Spinning Jenny which revolutionised weaving and was a significant event in the industrial revolution. In the spirit of great invention our DaVinci’s Designs team building is a great choice. Each team paints a part of a magnificent masterpiece, and all the pieces are brought together to great effect at the end of the event. This is a very good event if the aim is to communicate corporate values, as this can be the theme of the artwork.
