Forget Sir Chris Hoy and the Tour De France, now’s the chance for you and your team to come together to compete in our very own Tour de Team Bike Build!
Each team is given a brand new, dismantled bike frame with a tool kit and work station. But to get the wheels turning, teams must complete a series of challenges to prove they have the required skills to compete in the 'Tour de Team'. You’ll have to think outside the box as you rotate around the head to head challenge zones.
Warm up with an exercise bike race where the first team to complete a virtual lap wins. Teams must create their own ‘Tour de Team’ brand, designing a logo to decorate their team overalls and caps.
In preparation for your very own ‘Tour’ of the venue we test your navigation skills with a virtual orienteering exercise, followed by a quick cycling trivia quiz. At every challenge you’ll win an essential part of the bike – you’ll need them all or you might be racing without wheels!

Having won all the parts you’ll construct a working bicycle to be expertly scrutinised by a professional bike technician. The teams have a few minutes in the limelight to show off their company branding and designs to the group and judges.
Finally teams will be lined up to take part in a head to head relay race. Doubtless each team will enjoy the whole hearted support of all spectators; in fact we pretty much guarantee the finale will be a frenzy of cheering and jeering.
After you’ve caught your breath we reveal the teams’ scores and the winners get their own Tour De Team gold medals.
The aim of our Tour de Team event is to get everyone working together and thinking creatively. Elements of marketing, branding and product design are woven into a fun, engaging and memorable team building activity day.

Tour De Team is a cycling-themed team-building challenge where teams compete to collect the parts needed to build a working bicycle. Along the way they complete a series of challenges involving teamwork, creativity, navigation and cycling knowledge before finishing with a head-to-head relay race.
Yes. Each team starts with a dismantled bike frame, a toolkit and a workstation. The teams then earn the individual components by completing challenges, meaning they need to gather everything required before they can assemble their finished bike.
The event includes a mixture of challenges, including an exercise-bike race, a virtual orienteering exercise and a cycling trivia quiz. Teams also create their own Tour De Team brand, designing a logo for their team clothing before taking on the final race.
Not entirely. Although the event culminates in a cycling relay, teams first need to complete a range of challenges to collect their bike parts. That means the event also tests planning, creativity, navigation, communication and general problem-solving rather than simply rewarding the strongest cyclists.
Each team creates its own Tour De Team identity, including a logo that is used to decorate team overalls and caps. The branding element adds a creative and competitive twist before the teams move on to the practical challenges and final race.
Once the teams have collected all their bike parts and assembled a working bicycle, a professional bike technician checks the finished bikes. The teams then line up for a head-to-head relay race, with the final scores deciding who receives the Tour De Team gold medals.
Tour De Team is suitable for groups of around 10 to 200 people, with the teams competing through the various challenges before coming together for the final relay.
Yes. Much of the event happens before anyone reaches the final relay, with teams completing creative, navigational and knowledge-based challenges to earn their bike components. The cycling finale is only one part of a wider team-building experience.
The event is generally offered as a two-to-three-hour team-building activity. That gives teams time to complete the preliminary challenges, gather their bike components, build their bikes and take part in the final relay.
The event combines teamwork with creativity, planning and problem-solving. The challenges also introduce marketing and product-design elements through the team branding, while the final bike build and relay bring everything together in a competitive finale.
