Saboteurs

Saboteurs is an indoor game of teamwork, suspicion and hidden betrayal. Participants tackle mental, creative and practical challenges while secretly selected traitors attempt to disrupt their progress without being identified.

The Event Manager explains the rules during the opening briefing and privately nominates the traitors. The remaining participants begin the challenges knowing that somebody within their team may be steering them in the wrong direction.

Their job is to sabotage progress discreetly. They might encourage an unhelpful strategy, create confusion or redirect suspicion towards an innocent colleague, but they need to remain subtle enough to survive the Round Table discussions.

Teams complete a series of cerebral activities involving logic, creativity and communication. Success earns points, but poor decisions or well-timed sabotage can reduce the benefit of an otherwise capable performance.

After each challenge, teams pause to discuss suspicious behaviour, question one another and decide who might be betraying the group. These conversations can be as important as the challenges because a convincing traitor may redirect the entire debate.

No. The indoor format focuses more on mental agility, observation and communication than physical performance. This makes it accessible to mixed corporate groups with different levels of fitness and confidence.

Yes. It can be delivered at suitable offices, hotels and conference venues across the UK. The indoor format also makes it a practical option when organisers do not want their team event to depend on the weather.

The event runs for approximately two to three hours. It can work as a standalone indoor team-building session or as the main interactive element within a company conference or away day.

Saboteurs is suitable for approximately 8 to 250 participants. The group is organised into teams, allowing the challenges and suspicions to remain manageable even when the wider event contains a large number of delegates.

The betrayal exists firmly within a playful, facilitated game. The exaggerated suspicions and Round Table accusations usually generate laughter, while the structure gives teams an unusual way to explore trust, assumptions and group decision-making.
