Have you ever wondered what it takes to produce a Wallace and Gromit movie? Well now is your chance to have a go in our ‘Animaniacs’ studio event…
Our animators will show you how to capture the essence of a character through simple modelling before you go on to create your very own animated movie.
Amusing films are always popular but we have also seen fantastic re-enactments of famous movie scenes and television intros; the A Team and Only Fools & Horses, for instance.
At the venue of your choice you’ll be met by our event manager who will explain the format of the day. Your group will be split into small teams, ideally of eight people.
Depending on the type of film you’ve chosen for your teams, you’ll be given some useful pointers. Come up with a script and draw your ideas onto a storyboard.
Everyone gets to create their plasticine own model to turn into anyone or anything they like.
Our animators will be circulating the room giving useful hints and can lend their expert hands to help with fiddly embellishments. Then use our clever stop motion software to get your models moving just like those in Wallace & Gromit.
In a grand finale everyone sits down to witness each teams spectaular creation.
Why not also put your acting to the test in our iPad Movie Making?!

Animaniacs is an indoor stop-motion animation team building event for 10 to 100 people, where teams model their own characters and create an animated film in about three hours. Here's how it runs.
Our animators show your group how to capture the essence of a character through simple modelling techniques.
Teams come up with a script and draw their ideas onto a storyboard, from comedy shorts to re-enactments of famous film scenes and TV intros.
Everyone creates their own model to turn into anyone or anything they like, with our animators on hand to help with fiddly details.
Teams use our stop-motion software to get their models moving, frame by frame, just like a Wallace and Gromit film.
Everyone sits down together to watch all of the finished animations, and the room always fills with cheers and laughter.
Animaniacs comes with everything your teams need to model, film and edit their animations.
Animaniacs sparks creativity and collaboration, giving teams a hands-on project with a finished film and a model to take home.
Creating characters and comic scenes keeps the room laughing from the first storyboard to the final screening.
Teams invent stories, characters and scenes from scratch, giving everyone the chance to think imaginatively.
Everyone takes home the model they made, a lasting reminder of the day.
Films can be built around your company's messages or themes, making the creative work relevant to your team.
Animaniacs turns your group into a miniature animation studio. Teams create a story, build plasticine characters and use stop-motion technology to produce their own animated short before gathering for a screening of the finished films.
Yes. Teams take their idea from the first rough script and storyboard through to character modelling and animation. The films are short, but completing the whole creative process gives everyone a genuine finished production to enjoy at the finale.
No previous experience is needed. Professional animators explain the process, offer practical advice and help with any particularly fiddly details. The stop-motion software is designed to let teams concentrate on imagination and storytelling rather than complicated technical settings.
Nobody has to appear on camera. Participants can write the script, draw the storyboard, create characters, design scenery, operate the stop-motion software or keep the production organised. This variety makes Animaniacs an inclusive creative team-building activity for different personalities.
Each participant has the opportunity to create a model that can become a person, creature or completely original character. Teams then decide how to use their cast within the story and bring the models to life one frame at a time.
Teams can develop an original idea or draw inspiration from a familiar film scene or television introduction. This flexibility means the activity can produce anything from a polished mini-drama to something wonderfully silly that reflects the team's own sense of humour.
Groups are divided into smaller production teams, ideally with around eight people in each. That gives participants enough variety in the available roles while keeping decisions, model-making and filming manageable.
The complete activity lasts approximately three hours. That provides time to develop an idea, make the characters, film the stop-motion scenes and watch the finished productions without forcing teams to rush through the most creative parts.
Animaniacs is a mobile indoor team-building event that can be delivered at a suitable venue of your choice. A conference hotel, meeting venue or spacious workplace can all become an animation studio once the equipment and materials are set up.
Producing even a short animation requires ideas, planning, patience and shared decision-making. Participants see how creative and practical roles depend on one another, while the final screening gives the entire group a light-hearted achievement to celebrate together.
