Our visit to Allianz Park

Last Saturday a few of us from TBCo HQ were lucky enough to have a show round Allianz Park and watch some exciting rugby!

On the 349 days of the year when Saracens RFU are not playing rugby at the stadium, Allianz Park plays host to conferences and teambuilding events!

Allianz Park offers a range of event spaces from small executive boxes for 5 people to a 600 person conference suite! Also set within a 26 acres of grounds, Allianz Park offers fantastic outdoor facilities, whether you are looking for a Country Sports event, Family fun day or a Treasure Hunt!

At a glance

  • Can host up to 2,500 people

  • 26 acres of grounds
  • 6 meeting rooms + a selection of executive boxes
  • On site catering

So what were our favourite bits?

James Morris (Sales Manager)

The range of spaces, the sports memorabilia, and the feel of the venue – it was all great. We also got to enjoy some lunch during our visit and I was very impressed by the standard of food on a mass catering scale!

Allianz Park are suited and ready to cater for any size event which is really reassuring when proposing the venue to large groups.

Bruce Long (Operations Manager)

The range of flexible indoor space makes it perfect for what we need as a teambuilding company!

There is enough space to hold a large conference in one room and a large indoor teambuilding event in the room next door. All the rooms are easily accessible which makes it perfect for setting up our large activities.

Matt Arnold (Event Consultant)

Same as Bruce, the range of flexible spaces on site and all spaces being very accessible makes it easy to arrange and set up our events.

Also the sports memorabilia and the venue as home to Saracens is really awesome and offers something different for our clients rather than a hotel or conference centre in the City.

Sarah Murphy (Event Consultant)

I’ve worked with Allianz Park a number of times when proposing to clients and the customer service that they offer is brilliant. It was really good to meet some of the team, and again reassuring that when I introduce a client to the venue I know they will be well looked after.

Overview

"Nice to see you..... To see you... NICE!"

This is our tribute to the greatest game show of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s! We bring back some of the weird and wonderful challenges of The Generation Game…

Over the course of dinner, you will have a go at crazy challenges and each table takes part in a light hearted competition. These spectacularly silly activities will have you laughing all the way through.

This is ideal entertainment over dinner for a fun group who are happy to let their hair down and want a truly memorable evening!

About

The Event Format

The Haka – During dinner our Haka tribesmen storm into the room to perform ‘The Call’ in full ceremonial dress! You’ll then be shown how to perform your own Haka war cry; the most powerful performance wins…

Balloon Modelling – Watch as our balloon modelling masters show off their impressive, inflatable skills. Then it’s your turn – create the craziest balloon model you can. Bonus points for weaving multiple balloons into wacky designs.

Seasonal Challenge – Seasonally dependant - design and build an edible Christmas gingerbread house, create a picturesque pumpkin carving, or decorate an eggscellent Easter egg...

Catwalk Capers – Become the ultimate fashion designer and create cutting edge clothing. From boxes of old offcuts and hideous charity shop rejects, combine the most avant-garde costume fit for The Paris Fashion Show.

About

More Details

Morris Dancing – Have a go at traditional English folk dancing. Our real Morris Dancer will teach your team a short dance then tuck your trousers into your socks, don a ribboned hat and have a go yourself.

Cake Decorating – This creative, culinary, cake decorating challenge is very messy… Compete to create the craziest cake topping. Icing, chocolate, sprinkles, jelly tots – try not to start a food fight. And no misbehaving with the whipped cream!

'Conveyor Belt Challenge' – The finale needs no introduction - you need to memorise the items before they disappear… “Dinner service…. Fondue Set…. Cuddly Toy!”

At the end of the night we take a look at “the scores on the doors” to find a winning table!

Your event team were great. They were very patient with us as we crashed through the Morris dancing and produced cakes that bore no resemblance to what we intended!
