… and so, it begins! Tonight the 15th Series of ‘The Apprentice’ airs on BBC and here at The Teambuilding Company, we cannot wait! In fact, we enjoy it so much that we have created an event based on it ‘The Rookie’. Are your team ready to pit their wits against our very own Lady Sweetener?? Do you want to identify the leaders within your team? Test people's teamworking skills? This could be the ideal event for you!
The Rookie
After meeting ‘Lady Sweetener’, a rather disconcerting business tycoon, your teams will be given a list of weird and wonderful objects to obtain, using a limited amount of spending money, whilst working against the clock! They will need to use teamwork, charm and their best business acumen to become the winning team and be hired as this year's ‘Rookie’, avoiding the wrath of Lady Sweetener at all costs!
The beauty of this event is that we can run it from any venue, all we need is a room to start and finish in, whether that be a company office, conference suite or even a private room in a restaurant.
Each event is bespoke and written dependent on location so no one event is the same!
… and for those who are worried about their weary feet, we can even add black cabs to your event!

In “Thrift for a Gift,” teams take on an exhilarating scavenger hunt with a heartwarming mission - to create care packages for those in need. Guided by a “wish list,” your team will scour the area to find essential and comforting items that will go directly to local charities or shelters. This unique event combines the excitement of a competitive scavenger hunt with the satisfaction of giving back, as teams gather items to create thoughtfully curated packages that will bring warmth and support to the community.

Event Format
Your team’s mission begins with a briefing from our charismatic event leader, who’ll explain the rules and distribute a carefully curated wish list. Teams are split into groups, each given a budget and a list of items to find within the vicinity. They’ll need to be resourceful, communicating with one another and devising strategies to collect items that meet the needs of the final recipients. Whether negotiating for a better price or creatively sourcing free items, teams are encouraged to think outside the box.
Assembling the Care Packages
Once the scavenger hunt is complete, teams gather to assemble their care packages, personalising each one with thoughtful messages or decorations. This stage encourages creativity and teamwork as groups come together to package everything in a way that’s both practical and uplifting. The care packages are then prepared for donation to local charities, shelters, or organisations, creating a direct link between the team’s efforts and the community’s needs.
Celebrate and Give Back
The event concludes with a heartwarming moment as teams present their completed care packages. It’s a meaningful finale, as participants can see the impact of their collaboration and generosity, knowing that each item collected will go to someone who truly needs it. This final presentation not only celebrates the winners of the scavenger hunt but also reinforces the positive impact of giving back.
