Team Building in Portsmouth
For some time Portsmouth did not enjoy the best reputation as a location but recent successful regeneration projects such as The Spinnaker Tower and the Gunwharf Quays waterside shopping complex have transformed the city. Portsmouth is now a viable location at which to base your conference or team building event, particularly if you want to experience a water-based team building experience. Corporate Sailing and our RIB Treasure Hunt are both top quality events, with Portsmouth offering excellent access to The Solent, the renowned stretch of water between the mainland and the Isle of Wight. For Treasure Hunts generally Portsmouth has some fascinating historical locations. Charles Dickens was born in nearby Landport, and there is a museum dedicated to the author. Peter Sellers was born in Southsea, and Brunel designed a significant part of Portsmouth Docks, where Admiral Lord Nelson’s H.M.S. Victory still floats as a visitor attraction. While the new developments in the city have elevated Portsmouth as an event location the historical charm remains in places. The Old Town has pubs and buildings that date back centuries and are worth a visit for team drinks.
