Team Building in Swindon
Swindon, a town in Wiltshire in the southwest of England, may not enjoy a reputation as a vibrant location for a conference. The name of the town actually derives from the medieval ‘Swine Town’, and now it is a regional business hub. It has much to offer as a location, and we can bring our exciting range of team building events to one of the excellent local hotels to liven things up. Swindon has excellent transport links. It is situated just off the M4, so travel by road is easy, although it is home to the ‘Magic Roundabout’ which has been voted the scariest road junction in the UK. Swindon also has a rich rail heritage, and it is home to STEAM, the Museum of the Great Western Railway. Our Rollercoaster team building event seems to be the perfect fit in Swindon. Teams construct different sections of a rollercoaster track, much like a railway line. These are then linked together before the final challenge is attempted. This is to run a ball around the track without interference by human hand. These tracks can be extremely complicated, with jumps, loops, and even lifts. The ball must power itself, so the track must undulate to create and restrict momentum. The end result will be a feat of engineering.
