SailGP
It’s getting busy on the water with Rib Treasure Hunts, Parmesan Job II events and Corporate Sailing days! Our boats have a big month ahead of them, especially with a new sailing Grand Prix added to the mix.
SailGP is a new sailing series circuiting five international seaside cities including Sydney, San Francisco, New York, Cowes and Marseille! Over the course of the series, teams will be racing to accumulate points until the end of the racing series (Marseille, Sept 2019) where there will be a final race between the two top teams, competing for a 1 million USD prize!
Our Ribs will be amongst the action spectating the short and sharp catamaran racing in Cowes on the 10th & 11th August 2019 (just before Cowes Week). The 50 foot catamarans are expected to reach speeds of 50kts (about 57mph) which is almost twice the speed our Ribs can travel at!

This wild icebreaker comes straight out of Africa, it’s a spectacular display of euphoric gum boot dancing and wellie whacking!
Our amazing African performers and musicians burst into your conference cheering, playing drums, stamping their feet and clapping their hands – taking your delegation by complete surprise and creating a instant meeting icebreaker.

Event Format
We’ll play traditional African instruments as you accompany our performers in your own great gumboot dance! You’ll be taught some booming beats and stomping sequences to perform back to everyone.
This is one of our spectacular icebreakers for meetings or conferences that will have your group completely energised and raring for the rest of the day. You’ll be able to feel the booming drumming reverberating around your body as you catch the infectious energy of our performers.

More Details
Within seconds we’ll have your group up on their feet; slapping, clapping, stomping and calling along with us. Our performers teach some fantastically fun dance moves to accompany the boot stomping.
Why wellies? Well this form of dancing was born in the South African gold mines. Miners were forbidden from talking so would use beats played with their boots to communicate without their superiors’ knowledge.
